Basilica of St Mary - Iconography Story
The Antiochian Orthodox Basilica of St. Mary came into existence through many years of study by the Parish Council and the Building Committee to preserve our Orthodox tradition and Christian architecture. The film touches on the iconography of our Orthodox faith, a bit of the church’s history that highlights the iconography of The Basilica of St. Mary in Livonia, Michigan, and is narrated by Father George.
How You Can Contribute
The Basilica of St. Mary's mission is to offer the entire Basilica of St. Mary community (Infant thru Seniors) a place in which they can come together with other Orthodox Christians to receive moral, ethical, and spiritual guidance based on our Orthodox Christian faith, providing a foundation for leading a Christ-centered life, and giving opportunities to spread Love, Joy, and Hope to our neighbors through works of mercy and outreach. This is made possible by donations from generous people such as yourself. Anything you are able to offer will benefit the ministries at the Basilica.
